Meet Our Team
Our entire team, both the front office as well as the clinical staff have over 50 years experience in children’s dentistry.
“Our mission is to provide a warm and caring environment that molds children to become health conscious teenagers and adults that are comfortable and confident in a dental setting.”
Also known as “Macgyver,” Tina has been working with Dr. Beaudet-Uy since the start of her dental career. Together they have seen two generations (close to three) of patients. She is a creative artist, multi-talented in many ways. Dr. Beaudet frequently says when Tina retires, she will retire. Tina is a pillar in the office.
A relatively new addition to the office, but an old soul to the practice as she was Dr. Beaudet-Uy’s patient as a child. She is a mom of two and a 'firecracker" in the office. Heather keeps us all in line and on our toes.
Aunty Miki has been working with Dr. Beaudet-Uy for 20+ years. She has worn many hats in the office and can do it all! She is a devoted wife and mom to 3 girls, her youngest identical twins. We look forward to her baked goodies every year and can’t imagine the office without her.
“Obi-Wan” is Dr. Beaudet-Uy’s Australian Shepherd puppy. He joined our office late December 2019.
He enjoys all the love & affection our patients and families give him!
The rookie in a group of seasoned veterans. She is a calm personality that balances the office. It wasn’t too long ago that she was a patient in our office. A fabulous addition to our family.
How do I pay for our visit?
Payment can be made by check, cash or credit card after the completion of your child’s visit. If you have dental insurance, our staff will submit your claim to your insurance company, and your company will reimburse you to the extent of their liability. If your child has any treatment needs (cavities, orthodontics, etc.), we will provide you with a detailed estimate before we schedule treatment.
To our families:
Thank you for your patience as we do our best to address parent & patient concerns at this time.
Our office has always upheld the highest standards to keep our patients safe. Dental offices are generally held to pretty high standards as far as sterilization, disinfection and patient & staff protection. There have been some changes that are now practiced that are specific to COVID response. Click here for more. If you’d like specific updates, please do not hesitate to call our office for a copy of this list.
Screening our patients and families the day before and the day of your visit is now standard. As the government changes its rulings on a daily basis, we do not. We are a health office and so follow science-based information. We do this to keep our patients & staff as safe as possible. We adhere to quarantine guidelines whether or not the state is doing so. If you or anyone in your home have traveled off island within the past 14 days, we kindly ask that you reschedule your child’s appointment.
As for school schedules, my staff and I understand the frustration with ever changing school schedules. Most of us have children at some level of school as well. We are trying to be as accommodating as possible with sticking to our core scheduling policies. We also follow guidelines suggested by the American Dental and Pediatric Dental Societies respectively.
We appreciate your confidence in our office as we make your child’s dental health our top priority.
